About

My name is Genesis Montalvo and I am humbled and honored to be the principal at Horizon Montessori Weslaco. I have been in the education field for over 15 years, 8 years as a high school math teacher, 5 years as a math instructional coach, 1 year as an assistant principal and the last two years serving as principal. I received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas-Pan American and received a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington. I look forward to creating partnerships with our HM2 families and I'm proud to serve our students, staff and community. Go Eagles!
