Thanksgiving is a special time of the year. It is time to reflect on "What we are THANKFUL for?"

I am THANKFUL for...

Our parents who contribute to the success of our school. Our students who do great things and leave an impact in our school and the world around them. Our teachers who work tirelessly to create lessons that foster a nurturing learning environment for all our students. Our coaches, who motivate our students to be the best they can be in any sport and/or academic events. Our office staff who keeps the school running and moving in a positive direction. Our nurse who takes care of our students when they are not feeling well. Our counselor, who assists our students in their delicate time of need and provides guidance in making positive choices. Our security officers who keep our students and staff safe. Our custodians who maintain our school clean and sanitize and our cafeteria workers who nourish our children.

But most importantly, my job, where I am committed to serve and make a positive impact for the children, parents and families of this wonderful community.

I hope you have a fun, restful Thanksgiving holiday filled with all your favorite foods, gathering of families and friends and some well-earned relaxation.
